Articulture offers a comprehensive art education experience. While we focus on fun, play, and creativity, classes are designed so that your child is also learning on a variety of levels. Children’s imaginations are vast, so we provide the structure and instruction to help guide each student through their own creative process.
Articulture’s teaching model is process-oriented, and aims to let each student explore their individual creative potential – everything they do is purely created by them and making something that is ‘picture perfect’ is NOT the goal. Instead, the art is the outcome of their personal process.

What does art education do for children?

Brain Boost Art stimulates young minds, enhancing their cognitive skills. Art activities can improve memory, attention, and problem-solving abilities.

Motor Skill Development Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination are developed through activities like cutting, tearing, drawing, and molding. These skills are crucial for other tasks such as reading, writing, tying shoes, and other life skills such as using utensils and tools.

Language Development Asking them open-ended questions about their creations helps children expand their vocabulary and improve their communication skills.

Emotional Expression Art provides a safe space for children to express their feelings and emotions, helping them process complex feelings like sadness or frustration.

Cultural Exposure Through art, children learn about different cultures, traditions, and histories, promoting inclusivity, tolerance, and understanding.

Social Skills Class environments and participation in artmaking can foster teamwork, collaboration, and empathy as children learn to share, listen, and appreciate the perspectives of their peers.

Decision-making and Critical Thinking Even what we perceive as simple tasks, such as choosing colors, materials, or artistic ideas helps children make decisions and evaluate their choices, enhancing their critical thinking skills.

Boosted Self-esteem Completing an art project gives children a sense of pride and accomplishment, which helps build confidence.

Sensory Development Engaging with different 2- and 3-dimensional art materials stimulates children's senses, helping them explore, discover, and understand their environment.

Patience and Perseverance Involvement in art activities teaches children the value of patience and the rewards of perseverance as they work on their creations.
