Each summer, we take on five interns to assist our teachers in working with children ages 4-12 during our summer camp season. Interns will have first-hand knowledge of teaching philosophies and curriculum development, while gaining valuable experience in a non-profit arts setting. Ideal candidates for this education internship program are Studio Art majors or graduates interested in art education as a possible career path.
Interns will be a part of a growing Minneapolis art center that places emphasis on the creative process—the act of making art—over product. Interns may take Articulture classes for free and receive discounts on retail art supplies. Interns will gain valuable experience in the field of arts education.
Applications are now open for Summer 2020. Learn more about our Summer Education Internship here.
