Intro to Portraiture

Mondays, Feb 24 – Mar 23, 7:00 - 9:30 pm
This class will explore the human portrait through drawing and color, with a focus on facial proportions and features. The history of portraiture will be discussed along with a look at portraits in a contemporary context. Live portrait modeling and picture references will be utilized. The goal is to give students needed skills to understand and draw faces with confidence.
Note: Materials fee $9 payable first day. Beginners welcome.
