In this unique workshop, students will combine traditional printmaking and basketry skills to make a sturdy functional woven basket. During the first session, students will learn a variety of printmaking techniques in order to create compelling imagery. The second week, the printed paper will be cut into strips and woven into a durable and useful basket. Each basket will vary in size and shape with originally printed designs. Use as a display, for keepsakes or give as a unique gift!
