Emily Taylor

Bio: Emily L. Taylor was Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Emily took to art as soon as she was able to hold a crayon. Throughout her childhood, Emily developed an appreciation for wildlife and her natural surroundings. She would often sit for hours sketching the unique characteristics and charm of an old tree, boldly colored flower, or other subject. She learned at an early age what a unique gift it was to be able to capture on paper or canvas what so many of us felt but could not express. Years of artistic expression made it clear that Emily's life would be centered upon her passion for art. After high school, Emily attended the Minneapolis College of Art and Design where she discovered a love for Illustration and earned her BFA.

Emily is now a professional artist and teacher. She lives in Saint Paul with her husband Chris, her sons Quincy, and Cedric, and their two pets, Rascal(her guinea pig) and Cooper(her chocolate lab).
